Sometimes an additional guide roller on a long chassis will provide and extra measure of prevention.

When a vehicle enters the aisle in forward / reverse the steering is limited by the engaged guide rail. The trailing part of the chassis is forced to follow when the roller engages the rail.

To minimize this pressure on the entry guide rail additional rollers can be added in the middle of the vehicle to mitigate potential damage to the rail or floor fasteners.
